Aviva Investors, a global asset management company, approached EWP architects to provide architectural services for the relocation of their Chicago office.
Together, we used this relocation as an opportunity to refocus their company culture. The project was centered on the user experience - arrival, meeting, work, and break out areas. The design team spent time working through the desktop environment, mocking up furniture and working through options for multiple monitors, adjustable-height desking, and the many appurtenances required at trading stations.
The space supports collaboration through multiple types of meeting areas, offers an abundance of natural light, and provides private, heads-down focus areas. Integration of corporate branding and select areas of open ceiling set the tone for Aviva's message to client and staff.
